Since opening in 2006, Shinra has embodied the concept of a new,
unprecedented type of luxury resort in the Minami-Boso area,
and driven the local market.
We have taken privacy, comfort, and class to the next level,
and, through the use of natural spring water
throughout the entire resort and the pursuit of gourmet dining,
we have totally transformed our amenities and level of hospitality.
We have been reborn as THE SHINRA, a resort for discerning adults,
packed with premium features and attractiveness beyond anything before.
ROOMS
In addition to the compact, stylish guest rooms we had previously,
we have expanded our facilities with the Shinra Prestige, a new building built on a slope facing the sea.
The news are even more sophisticated, and even more luxurious than anything we have offered before.
Now, with rooms that boast expansive views of the ocean and masters that look like something out of a movie scene,
our lineup is bursting with variety and individuality, allowing the guest to choose a room that fully matches their tastes.

ONSEN
Our onsen (hot spring) offers an unobstructed, panoramic view of the ocean from 50 meters above the sea.
The unique bath itself covers nearly the entire floor, and the interior is enveloped
in an almost spiritual atmosphere as the spectacular views are reflected onto the water’s surface.
Guests can enjoy a moment of luxury against the backdrop of an everchanging panorama.
Watch as a chef prepares your food on a teppanyaki grill in one corner of the dining room. The sounds and aromas of grilled food, the flames of flambé... Savor the moment with all your senses.
DINING
With our own fishing boats and nets, we are able to offer incredibly fresh,
locally caught seafood. Utilizing this advantage, we are continuously developing our own style of regional cuisine.
Furthermore, our eagerly awaited new restaurant is now open,
providing guests with an even lovelier atmosphere in which to enjoy freshly cooked food
and tantalizing performances by our chefs. Dining at The Shinra has never been better.

You can ride the shuttle bus from Tateyama Station whether you arrive by highway bus or train.
(Reservations must be made by the previous day)
